Signs of the Rapture

When does the Rapture happen? Is there any signs or specific events we can look for? Yes the Bible tells there are specific signs and events we can watch for. Jesus said in Matthew Chapter 25, to watch. What should we watch for?
One of the clearest signs of the end times is the Nation of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. Its not an accident the nation of Israel came into existence after almost 2000-years of of being scattered to the nations. Scripture clearly teaches God will gather the Jewish people and nation of Israel in the last days. In Deuteronomy 30:4, God declares 3400 years ago, "If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven...from there the LORD your God will gather you"...

Deuteronomy 30:4-5 ESV(4) If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there he will take you.(5) And the LORD your God will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, that you may possess it. And he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.

Jerusalem one day will be the capital of the earth, but before that happens there will be great tribulation over it, the whole world will be gathered together against it.

Zechariah 12:1-3 ESV(1) The oracle of the word of the LORD concerning Israel: Thus declares the LORD, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him:(2) “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah.(3) On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.

The Rapture is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ for His Church, as described in I Thessalonians 4:13-18. The Rapture happens in correlation to an event in Scripture known as the Tribulation. The Tribulation according to Daniel and Revelation will last 7-years, it is also known as the 70 Weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27).
