How to flush the automatic transmission fluid and change the filter in a GMC Sierra, Chevy Silverado, Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, Escalade. Steps will work with nearly any car or truck with an automatic transmission and a serviceable filter. This service could help with slipping, whining, shuddering or other transmission problems.
On the SUVs you may need to adjust the exhaust to remove the transmission pan. I accomplished this on a Yukon XL with a ratchet strap around the crossmember and exhaust.
