BREAST IMPLANT ILLNESS: MY STORY

This video was VERY hard to make and share but I feel it is my responsibility to bring awareness after all I went through. As a Latina and being from Colombia, plastic surgery is seen as the norm. Despite plastic surgeons saying that breast implants are completely safe that is NOT the case for everyone. Everyone's bodies react differently to foreign substances. My breast implants were slowly KILLING me. I want you to know that you are beautiful as you are 💕💕

After getting my implants removed I would say my health has improved by about 70%, the good news is that at least my health has stopped deteriorating. Due to my implants I developed interstitial cystitis, generalized muscle pain and Sjogren's Syndrome and although these conditions have not gone away they are less severe than they were before.

If I can be of any assistance to you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I am available through Instagram and you are more than welcome to DM me.

Thank you to these incredible woman who have also shared their stories. You have given me all the courage I needed to do this myself. We must continue to educate our community. It is our obligation to the generations to come to bring light to breast implant illness.
