Air Rifle Restoration

I rescued this old Daisy Powerline 1101WS I rescued from being thrown out. I tested it to see if it worked first of course, and I was impressed! It fires the standard .177 air gun pellets at 1100 fps. It is a single shot air rifle that functions with a break barrel, spring-powered cocking system, and has a manual thumb safety that automatically engages when the rifle is cocked. The rifle is nice and hefty for an air rifle and has a heavy solid wood stock. Other than being very dirty, it had a little rust on the outside of the metal parts. Mostly the stock was beat to heck. I cleaned the rifle, took it apart, sanded and refinished the stock.

In the end we got a free air rifle that works great and all it cost was a can of stain and lacquer!
