Former Congresswoman Patricia Schroeder dies at age 82

Former U.S. Rep. Patricia Schroeder of Colorado, a longstanding Democratic congresswoman, has died. Schroeder died Monday night in a Florida hospital, surrounded by her family, her daughter, Jamie Cornish, confirmed to CNN. Cornish confirmed her mother died after having complications from a recent stroke. Schroeder was 82 years old.
