Replacing the 3rd Brake Light Bulbs | 2005 Ford Escape
This started out with me needing to replace the 3rd brake light bulbs on a 2005 Ford Escape SUV. I went to the auto parts store and they tried to sell me the incorrect bulb. Even after looking it up online, I was finding incorrect bulb suggestions so I decided to make this video. This vehicle apparently takes (5) 2825 bulbs. I replaced mine with some regular 194 bulbs. They are identical to the 2825 bulb and fit exactly the same. (I have not tested it but supposedly the 2825 bulb is brighter, I'm not worried about this with the 5 new 194 bulbs in place). I hope this helps you out if you are searching for the correct bulb. This vehicle does not take a 3157 bulb in the 3rd brake light.
