RABBIT AND TORTOISE

Once upon a time, in a forest, there was a rabbit and a tortoise. The rabbit was very proud of his speed and often boasted about how fast he was. One day, the tortoise got tired of listening to the rabbit's bragging and challenged him to a race.

The rabbit laughed at the tortoise and accepted the challenge, thinking it would be an easy win. They both agreed to the race and set the finish line at a distant point in the forest.

The race began, and the rabbit immediately took the lead. He was running so fast that he didn't even bother to look back. However, after a while, the rabbit got tired and decided to take a nap under a tree, thinking that he had plenty of time to rest and still win the race.

Meanwhile, the tortoise was steadily making his way to the finish line, slowly but surely. He didn't stop or take any breaks, just kept moving forward with determination.

When the rabbit woke up, he realized that he had slept for too long and quickly ran towards the finish line. However, to his surprise, he found the tortoise already there, waiting for him.

The tortoise had won the race, and the rabbit learned a valuable lesson. He realized that overconfidence and laziness can lead to failure, and that slow and steady progress is often more reliable than quick but inconsistent bursts of speed.

From that day on, the rabbit stopped boasting about his speed and learned to respect the hard work and determination of others. The tortoise, on the other hand, became known for his perseverance and dedication, and the forest animals admired him for it
