Drone footage from the Donetsk region shows a Ukrainian combined arms assault on a Russian trench in Ivanivske.

In the video we see how Ukrainian infantry supported by a T-72 tank and a FV103 Spartan stormed the trench under the cover of superior firepower by the Ukrainian assets.

The effect of fire superiority and supressing fire is very well showcased here and the Russians had no chance to effectively counter the attack.

The assault was initiated by a Ukrainian T-72 softening the Russian defense by using its main cannon and heavy machine gun.

After this a FV103 Spartan carrying a squad of Ukrainian soldiers moved to the position and took over.

While the squad dismounted and joined the battle the Spartan provided fire support.
