With the Second week of The Great Fast at an end we honor St Gregory Palamas. At one point even protestants still celebrated the feasts, Celebrated those who had gone before them whom the church called Saints, Honored the Mother of God, Cared about theology, Studied the Holy Fathers, attempted to demonstrate apostolic continuity with their church, but now the majority of Western Christianity is a swamp of false doctrine, non christian teaching where anything goes as long as you believe it strong enough. Palamas did not know that kind of Christianity.
