Biden offers assurances after major US banks collapse

US President Joe Biden has tried to reassure Americans that the country's banking system is safe, after the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank.
It is the largest failure of a US bank since the 2008 global financial crisis, but Biden says customers and taxpayers won't bear any losses.
