Table is being set in Tennessee for Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

Last week, Governor Kristi Noem vetoed House Bill 1193 for fears that these regulations would be the beginnings of a centralized digital currency for South Dakota. And wouldn't you know, the exact same bill is going into committee this week here in Tennessee.

Senate Bill 479 would introduce a uniform code pushed by the American Law Institute and the Uniform Law Commission in order to standard certain regulations across the several states concerning electronic money transactions. Additionally, the proposed redefinition of "money" seems to preclude the use of cryptocurrency, like Bitcoin, in favor of a standardized and regulated electronic money like CDBC.

It is incredible to see legislation that was vetoed by one of the nation's most conservative governors now making its way through our General Assembly.

Make no mistake, Tennessee is not immune to the push towards centralization and the globalist agenda. We must stand firm.
