Watch as I embroider one of my Tudor blackwork embroidery projects. This project was based on two Elizabethan patterns found on Jane Bostocke's English sampler from 1598 (located at the V&A Museum).

For this 16th century inspired project, I am using twisted black silk thread on white linen fabric, on a slate frame. I counted every third hole per stitch.
