WMA Club Meeting SS23 - Meeting XVIII: EP Wealth ft. Erin Voisin, CFP

Hello and Welcome to the FDU Wealth Management Advisory Club. In this meeting, we have Erin Voisin, CFP from EP Wealth. Erin is the director of financial planning at EP Wealth Advisors. She has more than 11 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is currently the committee chair of EP Wealth's financial literacy outreach and co-developer of the EP Wealth externship program. This program invites high school students to visit EP Wealth to job shadow, learn corporate etiquette, and gain resume and communication skills. Erin is also a WIN Advocate, volunteering with the CFP Board Center for Financial Planning to educate women and girls about financial planning careers. Erin has been featured in CNBC, US News and World Report, Yahoo Finance, Fa-Mag, InvestmentNews, and more. Erin earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Diego, majoring in business administration and psychology. She also holds a master’s degree in accounting.

If this is your first time watching our videos, here is a cliff notes version of what our club is. Wealth Management Advisory Club aims to provide a space where students can develop an understanding of Wealth Management, learn the importance of setting goals to achieve financial success, enable students to discover their career passions, and create a sense of community for those interested in Wealth Management Advisory.

This club is open to not just all FDU Silberman Business Majors, but all majors at FDU are invited to come and join the club.

Reminders for our members:

1. We have purchased our very own Zoom License for the WMA Club. Zoom Meeting Links have changed. Please look at our emails and linktr.ee for the Zoom Meeting Link each week.
2. Go and follow all of our social media accounts on our linktr.ee.
3. Our club website is officially public and online. Go to our linktr.ee to view our new website. Please give us feedback on what you liked and what you disliked about it and any changes you think we should add. Please do not use the website that FDU Silberman make as it has inaccurate information.
4. If you have any ideas for future meetings like which speakers should come in or any topics that you would like to talk about, please let us know.
5. If you want to be added to our emailing list, please fill out the Emailing List Sign-Up Sheet on our Linktr.ee.
6. If you have not joined our GroupMe Group Chat, ask one of the members or e-board members so that we can add you in.
7. If you are interested in learning about stocks and want to invest money, come to Markets Update with Jon Budish and Rich Brenner every Tuesday from 3-4 PM on both campuses in the Bloomberg Labs and via Zoom.
