In this video, we're exploring some beautiful pieces that I've recently come across.

Now, when we think of antique paintings, it's not uncommon to picture famous artists like Van Gogh, Monet, or Renoir. But did you know that there were many American and European artists who would go to the streets of Paris or the canals of Venice to paint impressionist pictures? Some of these artists were very good, but we don't necessarily know who they are now. However, their works still hold great value and are appreciated for their beautiful colors and calming, reflective nature.

That brings us to our first find, a large painting with a beautiful signature. Although the artist is not listed and may not have been commercially successful, this painting is still worth admiring. It's priced at only $225 and should date back to the 1950s.

Moving on, we have a beautiful bookcase based on a Georgian design. It's a 1940s-era reproduction of Georgian English mahogany, with an X-stretcher underneath for added stability. This piece would be perfect for a book collector, priced at $325.

Next up is some modernism in the store. We have an etched nude women piece by listed artist Art Hamilton from 1978, priced at $350. And don't miss the fun flying geese figurines and Haeger couples—tall black dancers back to back are only $40, as are the ones in the embrace.

One of the most intriguing pieces we found is some alexandrite glass. When held up to a fluorescent light, it has a lavender hue. But when taken to natural light, it turns to a bluish cast. Imagine showcasing it under different bulbs and watching it change color! This unique piece is definitely a conversation starter, and it's priced at a reasonable $45.

We also stumbled upon some Bristol glass, which is hand-painted and over 120 years old. It's priced at only $16 and would make a great addition to any glass collection.

And let's not forget the Rosenthal Netter candlesticks, made in Italy and priced at $120 for the pair. Rosenthal Netter is a label to look out for, as they've had great designers work for them.

Lastly, we have an ironstone piece from Italy that's done in the Victorian style. What sets it apart is the dog handle, which adds a bit of humor to the piece. It's lighter in weight, which helps identify it as a more recent vintage.
