Although I only wanted to learn about Qigong and energy work, I'm grateful to have also been trained in Tai Chi by authentic Tai Chi - Qigong masters. Basically, I learned more about Qigong in terms of form and energy through an understanding of Tai Chi practice. In essence, Tai Chi could be considered to be like a continuous Qigong form, if it's purpose is not martial. Many Tai Chi movements are combinations of Qigong practices put into a continuous motion that flows into the following movement.
