Air unit follows robbery suspects from San Francisco police and were arrested

At 3 am, CHP H-32 responded to assist Oakland CHP, San Francisco Police, and the Oakland Police Department search for suspects wanted for a robbery.

H-32 arrived overhead and located the suspects hiding in a wooded area along the freeway. H-32 utilized the helicopter public address system and talked the suspects out of their hiding place and directed them to an arrest team.

The San Francisco Police Department will be investigating this incident.
