The Fulness of the Gentiles - Show Notes

Summary:
Most of my saved life I have believed that there is a certain number of people that will trust Christ and become part of His Body, and when that number is reached, the Rapture will occur. We’ve often said, “When the last person gets saved, the trumpet will sound!” Is this a sound, Scriptural idea? Does it line up with what the Apostle Paul wrote?

Show Notes:
Fulness: Gr. - plērōma (play’-ro-mah):
that which is (has been) filled
a ship inasmuch as it is filled (i.e. manned) with sailors, rowers, and soldiers
in the NT, the body of believers, as that which is filled with the presence, power, agency, riches of God and of Christ
that which fills or with which a thing is filled
of those things which a ship is filled, freight and merchandise, sailors, oarsmen, soldiers
completeness or fulness of time
fulness, abundance
a fulfilling, keeping

Riches: Gr. - ploutos (ploo’-tos):
riches, wealth
abundance of external possessions
fulness, abundance, plenitude
a good i.e. that with which one is enriched

Fulfilled: Gr. - plēroō  (play-ro’-o):
to make full, to fill up, i.e. to fill to the full
to render full, i.e. to complete
to fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting to full measure, fill to the brim
to consummate: a number
to make complete in every particular, to render perfect
to carry through to the end, to accomplish, carry out, (some undertaking)

Be come in: Gr. - eiserchomai  (ice-er’-khom-ahee):
to go out or come in: to enter
of men or animals, as into a house or a city
of Satan taking possession of the body of a person
of entrance into any condition, state of things, society, employment
to arise, come into existence, begin to be

Takeaway:
The 70th Week of Daniel begins the Time of Jacob’s Trouble. It’s the final 7 years of trouble before the Lord returns, and it is the beginning of the end of the time of the Gentiles. The Rapture occurs to remove The Church from the coming Wrath. It is then that the antichrist is revealed, to bring in the final kingdom of the Gentiles. Rather than look for a number to get saved, let us look up and observe the late hour. The day is at hand!
