The best way to clean your airgun barrel?!// The Patchworm kit & Ballistol CLP (2240 First Cleaning)

People always say that a new airguns needs to be cleaned...
lets figure it out together with the new 2240!

I will also be testing out the Patchworm Pocket kit (With the .22cal attachment) for the first time & using the good ole trusty ballistol CLP !
_[I recommend using the non aerosol/ rubber safe version near seals]_

Ive been using the DIY technique for a while (grass trimmer line) and also used cleaning pellets with rods and patches before... [I tested most ways to do it.]
but from what I can tell this is really THE BEST method that ive tried yet!
The tighter fit is scrubing nicely down the barrel while not being abbrasive on your soft chinesium barrel.
(And allows you to slide a fresh patch each time unlike a boresnake wich can be abbrasive)

This thing looking squeaky clean now !

*DISCLAIMER* : They said in the kit descroption that the 7/8 patches would work fine up to .35cal but I also found this on the website in the patches section :
7/8" rounds are economical and work for calibers up to .30 cal.
1-1/4" rounds work great with .30 cal up to the largest calibers. They can also provide a slightly tighter fit than a 7/8" regular cotton patch for the smaller calibers, if desired. A very versatile patch size.*
1-3/4" and 2-1/2" rounds can be used to further fine-tune the desired fit for all calibers. They are also large enough to use for general cleaning and wipe-down of external surfaces.
*Patch recommendations above are for firearms; airguns may benefit from slightly larger patch size to provide the best fit.*
