Episode 8 Kraus T Rex pull back plate Install

In this episode I tackle my riding position which wasn’t quite perfect. Although we had OG 6.5” pull back risers with ODI bars and a Krause Raptor pull back plate, things were close but not good enough. I found myself stretching, leaning forward and sometimes taking my lower back off the seat on longer hauls. Now we swap that out for the T-Rex pull back plate. While we are at it we swap out the risers for 8.5” pull backs. This combination allows my arms to just be below shoulder height. My back is straight. My legs are bent square. Life is good. This seems to be my ideal riding position.

Full disclosure:
I buy parts, and at the best regular price I can find. I don’t have any deals or endorsements with anyone. So my opinions are unbiased. Now I’m located in Canada, so if parts are made and designed in Canada, I do have a bias here because the majority of the Harley aftermarket is based in the USA. So I’ve got some love and respect for the Canadian Harley aftermarket. Especially if the guys making the parts support the Canadian aftermarket, lead the way in customer service, quality and design, and support the scene that I love so much.

I am not a mechanic. I have paid for all parts shown, out of pocket, at regular or sale prices.
