Central Cee was born Oakley Neil Caesar-Su in Ladbroke Grove, London, on June 4th, 1998. Raised is nearby Shepherd’s Bush, this area of West London is notorious for having both the poor and wealthy living in extremely close proximity to one another. For instance, growing up in a single parent household with his three younger brothers and mother, Cench’s apartment was less than a 20-minute walk from Holland Park, which boasts the very much on the nose nickname of “Billionaire’s Row”. Back when he was little more than a kid, Cench used to take the 52 bus through this high-end neighborhood and day-dream about what living there would be like with his family. Of course, for a long period of time, those daydreams were simply nothing more than that, dreams. And the older Cench became, the more he realized he was going to have to be the one looking after his three younger brothers as they tried to come of age on the dangerous streets of West London.
