The Camillus LK6 Folding Knife comes with a 2.5" drop point blade made from D2. The D2 steel is bonded with titanium that helps it resist rust and corrosion and is up to 3x harder than untreated steel so the blade stays sharper, longer. D2 is air-hardened tool steel is sometimes called a "semi-stainless" steel because it contains 12% chromium. It offers decent corrosion resistance with exceptional edge retention that makes it harder to sharpen than most but can be finished to a high-polish shine. The G10 handle is an extremely durable makeup of layers of fiberglass soaked in resin, then highly compressed and baked. It is impervious to moisture or liquid and physically stable under climate change.
