A Neat Way To Display Your Ammunition

This video provides you with step-by-step instructions on how - using common materials found around the home - you can make your own, exploded-view dioramas. displaying the various components of a cartridge. This is especially nice if you reload your own ammunition. In addition, you can use those old shooting trophies you've stored away (if you still have them) as the bases; putting them to good use again.

These dioramas make excellent teaching tools for those unacquainted with function of cartridges and guns in general. Bullet casters may be especially drawn to showing off their casting skill in this way too.

The cartridge in this example diorama is a .45-120 using a 535 and a 540 grain cast bullet. This cartridge is intended for use in my Ruger No.1 rifle and has proven successful when hunting moose, deer and bear, here in Canada.
