Once Bryan was released from prison, he and his older brother Ron -- aka “Slim” -- began paying special attention to hip-hop, a sound that was taking over the streets of New Orleans. Then, in 1992, Bryan would come up with the idea of forming his own record label with Slim and called it – “Cash Money Records”. Having decided on a plan of action, Bryan began travelling to night clubs all around Louisiana to scout talent and recruit artists to his brand-new label. The first artist he ever wound up signing was a local rapper name Kilo G, who dropped the label’s very first project in 1992 – a horrorcore album titled “The Sleepwalker”.
