BEFORE establishing himself as one of the world’s most pre-eminent rappers and striking up a high-profile relationship with none other than Kylie Jenner, rapper Travis Scott was born Jacques Bermon Webster II on April 30th, 1991 in Houston, Texas. In the earliest years of Scott's life, he lived with his grandmother in South Park, a neighborhood that was notorious for its criminal activities – something that Travis would witness himself first-hand many times, all before the age of six. Eventually, he would, when he moved back in with his parents in Missouri City -- a middle-class suburb, also located in Houston. Throughout his childhood, Scott’s mother worked as an AT&T and Apple liaison, while his dad ran his very own advertising business, which would soon become a revolving door for Scott and the friends he met at Elkins High School to get together and partake in one particular pastime – recording music.
