PC Engine Fan magazine PC-FX CD-ROM vol2.

The first option on the main menu is for game demos. The first game is Comic Road. A game where you plan out your days to balance work, learning, relaxation and your comic creation and submission for publication. The intro is followed by a two week demo. The second option on the game menu is a video of a visual novel called "Zoku Hatsukoi Monogatari: Shūgaku Ryokō" looks like a lifetimes worth of clicking. The third option on the game menu is a video for "Tonari no Princess Rolfee!" This appears to be a reverse isekai visual novel for the PC-FX mascot Rolfee. The last game on the list is "Last Imperial Prince". The fighting is not very impressive and once the long distance axe throwers came in it became much more difficult to avoid being hit. Once I moved the injured party member to a new bed I spent about an hour running around the map but I was not able to progress in the demo any further. I am not sure what I needed to do next but If it is not selling for $100+ I might grab a copy and try to play through it.

Next on the main menu are some previews for new OVA's (Original Video Animations). First on the OVA menu is "Ayane's High Kick". I have seen Ayane's High Kick and I will probably never watch it again. There was not much to it. Second on the OVA menu is Vampire Hunter the animated series also know as Darkstalkers in the USA. This was probably the highlight of this disc for me. While I am not a big fan of the animated series I do like the end credits song "trouble man" that plays throughout the preview. I was not expecting to see that on this disc. Next on the OVA list is Demonic Resurrection: Portrait of Hell also known as ninja resurrection in the USA. I recall the USA adverts for this suggesting it was a sequel to Ninja Scroll. That was a good enough reason for me to avoid it for a long time. The OVA ends with a cliffhanger so I would recommend avoiding it. Finally we round out the OVA's with some giant robots I could no ID.

Third on the main menu is a photo gallery for Rolfee.

Fourth on the main menu is several voice actors giving a description of their in game characters.

Finally we have a database of upcoming releases.

This video was captured from a PC-FX through Svideo in to a Diamond VC-500 USB and captured in OBS.
