Secret Agent (1943)

Clark Kent stops at a drug store to talk to his chief about his assignment when he witnesses a car chase between a group of men trying to gun down another car. The gun men's car crashes into the drug store, and they steal Clark's car. Clark catches up to the gangsters and grabs onto the rear of his car. They pass by a police car, and the gangsters try to shoot at the police, but Clark stops them. The gangsters were after an agent who had records of their names and plans. The agent gets a police escort to the airport, but the gangsters attack. The agent drives through the fighting to the airport, but another group of the saboteurs positioned at a bridge get to the controls of the bridge to stop the agent. The agent jumps out of the car as it crashes into an electrical tower. She falls onto the bridge's turning mechanism and is knocked out. The gangsters leave with the agent's records, and Clark changes into Superman to rescue the agent. He picks her up, flies her to Washington D.C, and flies away.
