Canada: Minister Anita Anand addresses Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence – March 9, 2023

National Defence Minister Anita Anand delivers a keynote address to open the two-day Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence. Organized by the Conference of Defence Associations Institute (CDAI), the annual event brings together industry leaders and defence experts to address topics shaping their sector.
In her remarks, Anand announces the federal government will use a streamlined procurement mechanism to fast-track the purchase of anti-tank, anti-drone and anti-craft weapons for the military.
