VVFH Two Different Tet Reports

Walter Cronkite is on film February 14th, 1968, in Vietnam, giving a very different report than he gave back in the U.S. February 27th, 1968. Why?
This is a revelation for those of us taught to believe that Cronkite reported accurately in the latter, without ever seeing, hearing or hearing about his former report, which is historically accurate.
