We tend to think that it is our job as Christians to save the world. This leads us to think in much grander ways about how to go about accomplishing this task. We seek to "bring in the kingdom" through legislative means, through progressive policies, through Christian nationalism, etc. etc.

However, Jesus says the world will hate us. It's never going to welcome us as saviors and deliverers. With that in mind, should we be focused on trying to save the world like many in the world are attempting to do so? Or does the Great Commission and the Church have a different mandate? One that is much smaller and involves friendships, evangelism, and discipleship?
