Staff are mentally abusive and manipulative in nature that will try and use psychological tactics to instigate and provoke you intentionally so they can get a response from you that they can use to kick you out or refuse services, if you live there and try to get sober the pressure will either kill you like it has many who have lived there or cause you to relapse because the management and staff pawn most of the work off on residents so they can relax and chat. Other residents are mentally unstable and some will even try and kill you by putting poison in the coffee dont trust anything there, I have liver disease after living there for 1 year and I didn't live there for sobriety it was a step up from homeless when covid struck I had no choice but they used me for a year of basically 9 to 5 labour to the house doing jobs the staff should get paid to do while Terry raises more money, Patrica Sanders is on the board as well as several other boards $$$ vultures she's a fraud too. This place used to be genuine. It changed. They sold out. Or Terry did. Poor judgment in hiring staff. Marco from The Existence Project is a fraud to he sold out used to be genuine. These people and places now cause more harm than good. Everyone that lives there dies or gets sick or at least the ones that aren't liked, I was fine when I got there now I have liver disease. Possibly colon cancer. Had to have a surgery to remove a mass. I became violently ill from living there I was being poisoned and can see a spike in my ALT AST liver function levels 2021 Jan damage to the liver severe damage. I don't drink. Didn't then. Before that maybe a beer with dinner once in a while at a pub. Most people here were users so no one will believe us if something happens to us there maybe it's Terry. Or jealous residents. I had more going for me than the others there I had more. More everything. And I was there for other reasons than they were so they felt mad about that and I prevailed past everyone there fast. I may have had an advantage not being a recovering addict. But I been homeless all my life 15 years 7 in Victoria and im sober. Always was. The system itself out here is designed to keep you homeless and sick so they can keep getting paid and raising funds making millions giving you guys less than the bare minimum. 1 year there caused me 4 years of health issues. From stress and being poisoned through the food coffee etc. Another resident was even spraying the toilet paper with some chemicals because he was mad people weren't cleaning up after themselves in the bathroom so that was his way of getting us back. Even me being someone who did clean after myself .. Now I have colon issues and swelling for 3 years started while I was living there have been sick ever since. I was doing the advocacy work then guys were jealous even staff. Others saw me as competition. I may even die from the illness I inherited from that place being poisoned and the unreal level of stress from unrealistic expectations from house rules and mentally abusive manipulative narcissistic staff like stack. Making things harder than needed. On purpose. Power tripper. Wanna be an alpha male.tries to impress the other female staff by trying to insert his dominance in abnormal scenarios. It's awkward. Cringe. They will most likely delete this but ill create a page just for them on victoriabcprofits.ca
