Marine Sgt. gives personal account of 2021 Afghanistan withdraw

At a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Wednesday, Marine Sargent Tyler Vargas-Andrews gave an emotional testimony recounting the 2021 Kabul International Airport terrorist attack. The hearing is investigating the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. “The withdrawal was a catastrophe in my opinion, and there was an inexcusable lack of accountability and negligence,” said Vargas-Andrews.
