Bipartisan group of senators unveil Tik Tok ban bill

A dozen Republican and Democratic senators have joined forces with a proposal that could pose a threat to the future of the popular social media platform in the United States. The White House is reportedly applauding a new U.S. Senate bill that would give the Biden Administration new authority to ban the Chinese-owned video app TikTok, deeming it a threat to American national security.
