Sharesies New DRP Plan! (Dividend Reinvestment Plan)

Sharesies have recently introduced the option for DRP's (Dividend Reinvestment Plan) which enables any dividends to be reinvested back into buying more stocks of the same company rather than being paid out dividends into your cash wallet. There is a couple of advantages mainly being there are no transaction fees associated with the new share purchase and occasionally the companies themselves will offer the shares at a reduced price.

DRP's are normally referred to a "Drips" for ease of use.

A great way to automatically increase your investment which is an almost set and forget method for compounding your investments.

Not all shares offer this feature, and this is the first one I've seen so far on the Sharesies platform, however I'm sure there will be more in the near future.

We'll show you how simple this is to implement and how to opt out if you want to get the money paid into your wallet.

Enjoy! :)
