Part 3 of 6 - We had been striking out to secure a good feed for this day of our trip and decided to run some traffic right off of a lake where the birds roosted. Mid-morning the smoke from some northern wildfires rolled in and totally smoked out the whole area for days! The smoke was so thick at some points that morning that we could only see about a hundred yards. Pretty crazy day out in the field! We learned a lot actually too! Lo visibility equals a better chance at decoying birds!
