Wood Turning Bark Stripes

This project was more of an experiment than really trying to make a specific thing. I wanted to woodturn a vase, but leave a stripe of bark in the middle. The problem was the wood was oblong, which means it was never really balanced. So hollowing was a pain. I will probably try this again at some point, but maybe with a smaller stripe.
