Wood Turning Spiky Seeds

These seed pods have been everywhere, so I thought it'd be cool to cast them in resin and try to woodturn a vase out of them. I'm not sure what type of tree they came from, so if anyone knows please let me know in the comments! I poured a little too much resin at one time and had some cracks, but I actually like the way it came out when I filled them in.
