Wood Turning: Goblet + Resin

I woodturned this captive resin ring goblet now that I've had more practice making rings on the lathe. The log wasn't easy as it had some defects, so I had to adjust my plans as I went. I dunked the top of the goblet in resin to try to stabilize the wood, as well as to create a chunk of resin to form the captive ring. This log was nice and dry, but I enjoy wood turning green wood a lot more as a beginner (although my lathe likes dry wood better!). Overall I was happy with this wood turning project and I think the resin ring turned out pretty cool!
