Wood Turning a Log into a Pedestal Bowl

For this woodturning project I wanted to try a combo of my bowl gouge and carbide tools. I found that I liked the carbide better for when the log was out of balance, and the bowl gouge better for when I could speed up the lathe and make smoother cuts. I'm still learning a lot about woodturning, so I don't mind that this bowl turned out a little ugly!
