A Not So Easy Bowl...

I've been watching a lot of woodturning videos of Stuart Batty lately, and trying to get better at making bowls. I finally got an actual bowl blank instead of the logs I normally use, so I thought it'd be easy to make a bowl out of it using Stuart's method. Unfortunately it wasn't as easy as I hoped, and I felt like a beginner all over again! I did ok shaping the bowl, and had some very satisfying cuts when I got it right, but hollowing was quite a mess. Learning this technique is pretty hard, and the bowl looks more like my first than my hundredth, but luckily for me Stuart wouldn't be caught dead watching one of my videos!
