Wood Turning a Crazy Log

I cut this weird/cool looking section out of a stump of a rotten tree. I would've liked to try woodturning it as it, but it was way too unstable so I poured some resin on it. My one disappointment is I went a little too deep with my pour and ended up with a crack that I had to fill. Other than that I'm pretty happy how this vase turned out!
