Wood Turning a Rubik's Cube

The hardest part of this woodturning project was learning how to solve a Rubik's Cube! After I learned that, I cast it in some resin and put it on the lathe. I'm sure one of the most common questions will be "What is it?". Initially I wanted to make a sphere, but I didn't have enough resin so I went with a different shape. The cube in resin looked pretty cartoony to me, so I tried to make Bullet Bill from Mario Bros. Either way, it's a cool paperweight!
