What happens when Saturn moves into Pisces on March 7, astrologically?

When Saturn goes into Pisces, we will learn lessons about our highest purpose but possibly being faced with our deepest pain. This may be a time period where we are all asked to go deeper into ourselves and to really understand our motivations, our deepest hopes. You might look at what is involved in your day-to-day and ask yourself some big questions:

✨ "Do I really need this in my life?"

✨ "What is it doing for me really?"

✨ "Am I really happy?"

✨ "Is this really what I want?"

You might find yourself disillusioned with some aspect of your life. Something you thought you wanted, or thought you had, is not what you want anymore; maybe that Saturnian structure you held a lot of faith in isn't living up to expectations.

With every sign, we can go low and we can go high. For instance, high Aries: drive, ambition, a pioneering spirit, and bravery. Low Aries, on the other hand: selfishness, ruthlessness, and inflexibility. So, with high Pisces, we become one with the cosmos and at peace with everything — perhaps a spiritual healer, a creative channel for the divine. Low Pisces, though, is a descent into self-destruction through any means.

During this time of Saturn in Pisces, we may be tempted toward self-destructive behaviors or simply feeling like we want to say, "F*ck all of it." The higher form of this escapist tendency will be some sort of spirituality, something non-material, that costs next to nothing that brings joy and peace to your life. This can mean expressing creativity through dancing, singing, acting, writing, drawing, and so on. Anything that turns off the left brain, allows you to connect to your intuition, and helps you to connect with yourself, such as meditation, meditative forms of yoga; in other words, not the kinds of activities that require you to focus, such as shadow work, sound healing, and tarot.

For the record, this is not a time for jumping onboard with the latest TikTok trend. This will be a time of self-discovery, and only you know what is right for you. This is an inner journey and it is not about showing it to others or seeking approval and applause. If you let yourself explore without the pressure of needing show offable results or having to make your journey look pretty, you will find the deeper meaning of this Pisces inner journey.
