Chicken Changezi is a popular North Indian dish, which is believed to have originated in the Mughal era. It is a rich and flavorful chicken curry that is made using boneless chicken pieces cooked in a spicy tomato-based gravy.

To make Chicken Changezi, you will need the following ingredients:

Boneless chicken, cut into bite-size pieces: 500g
Yogurt: 1/2 cup
Onions, finely chopped: 2 medium-sized
Tomatoes, finely chopped: 2 medium-sized
Ginger-garlic paste: 2 teaspoons
Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 2 teaspoons
Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder: 1 teaspoon
Salt: to taste
Oil: 3-4 tablespoons
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped: for garnishing
Here's how to make Chicken Changezi:

Marinate the chicken pieces in yogurt, salt, and half of the ginger-garlic paste for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep pan and add the chopped onions. Fry until golden brown.
Add the remaining ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.
Add the marinated chicken and mix well. Cover the pan and let the chicken cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the chicken is cooked and the gravy has thickened, turn off the heat.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
