Would I recommend this motorcycle? It depends.

Are you wanting touring capability that will tackle more adverse terrain?

Are you at least 6 foot tall?

Are you done pretending that unless it says Harley Davidson its not "MAN" enough?

Are you comfortable with learning a new skill set such as a high center of gravity?

Do you have the patience to get hundreds of MILES under your belt before your confidence is achieved?

Negatives: The seat lacks support, the handlebars are too bar away, ( which can be fixed with a riser ) the control levers even though are adjustable are not angled correctly. The ignition switch is too close to the front of the tank when mounting a tank bag. Other minor pet peeves.....
The stupid maintenance light won't go off unless you take it to a dealer. Yes there are aftermarket ways to address this BUT it shouldn't be that way.

Price: For what you are getting if you are planning on riding it for years or at least 10k miles I feel the value is there.

Aftermarket parts and accessories are limited: However it may catch up.

Major Concerns: There are a lot of electronic gadgets on this bike with little manual override...so when the electronics finally do break....there is that added expense.

Overall satisfaction: Scale on a 1 to 10 ( ten being the best )

I give it a solid 8. Perhaps the best feature on this motorcycle is the fact that it has a great deal of distance on preload and the suspension is adjustable. The seat height to foot peg is very comfortable...however coming from a cruiser I would want larger foot rests.

Yes I like the styling of the bike, there is plenty of power even with paniers. Overall if you are looking for perfect or you are the type of person that needs to look at 20 motorcycles before making a buying decision then this bike won't appeal to you at first....but I promise you once you realize what the rest of the market has to offer in this price point you will probably buy this bike.
