Exploring Antique Collectibles & Their Values: Vintage Jewelry, China & More!

We explore a show filled with all kinds of antique treasures. We start by checking out some beautiful costume jewelry, wondering if there's anything we could buy for resale. We find some colorful beads, eye-catching and multi-stranded, from the 1960s, that would be perfect for resale. Moving on to antique China, we discover a rare English pattern from Crown Ducal, and some popular black backgrounds in chintz that have a big collector following. We also come across some still banks, such as a pirate bank from the 1920s and a steamboat bank from the 1970s.

Next, we see a fantastic electric barber pole from 1896, one of the first of its kind, priced at a rare $5,000. We also discover some beautiful Higgins glass from Chicago, famous for producing pieces like these from the 1960s to the 1990s. We explore some classic furniture, such as a gear table and bachelor chairs, and admire some cool cinnamon lamps from the 1970s.

We move on to jewelry caskets and tobacco humidors, some from Germany and Austria around 1900-1910, and others from around 1970. We find an Enid Collins purse from the same era and a big wooden hair comb or maybe tortoise shell. We even discover some vintage toy cars, including a 1934 car with a working siren!
