In this video, we will take you along as we cure a ham using salt and brown sugar and then smoke it in our smokehouse with hickory for flavor.
First, we start with a fresh ham that we harvested here on the homestead. After the curing process is complete, we will move on to smoking the ham.
We will take you to our traditional smokehouse where we will use hickory wood to smoke the ham, giving it a delicious smoky flavor.
Throughout the video, we will provide helpful tips and tricks for making the best salt/sugar cured and smoked ham.
