Ethiopia celebrates 127th anniversary of victory over Italian invaders

This week, Ethiopians marked the anniversary of a historical military victory over invading Italian forces: the 1896 Battle of Adwa prevented European troops from colonizing the East African country and halted their encroachment upon the greater Horn of Africa region.
