How to Fix LED Grow Light | Repair Old Mars Hydro LED Grow Light

When my Mars Hydro LED grow lights stopped working properly, I knew it was time to do some repairs. My first step was to carefully inspect the panel where the LED lights were located, looking for any LEDs that were not lighting up. After a thorough examination, I found one bad LED that needed to be replaced.

I carefully removed the faulty LED and installed a new 5w LED to replace it. But when I tested the light, I was disappointed to find that it still wasn't lighting up properly. This led me to conclude that the problem was likely with the LED driver.

To get to the bottom of the issue, I opened up the LED driver to see what was going on inside. Upon inspection, I found that two of the capacitors were damaged and needed to be replaced. I carefully removed the old capacitors and installed new ones in their place.

With the repairs complete, I was eager to see if the LED grow light was now functioning properly. I powered it on and was delighted to see that all of the LED lights were now working as they should. I was pleased to have been able to fix the problem myself, especially since Mars Hydro had tried to sell me a new light at a discount instead of suggesting a repair.
