Amateur tackles Top Chief Fort William - Its a mean rocky descent

Top Chief is the nevis range black trail. It can only be accessed by the gondola. Top chief is a technically difficult rocky trail with plenty of obstacles to catch you out. It is not one for beginners and care should be taken while riding it. It is a significant step up from the new blue trail Blue Doon.

I haven't ridden top chief for 6 years so took it easy. Looking forward to getting back and ridding it more. Properly set up brakes and lever angle is important so you don't get any hand strain/arm pump. The trail is physically demanding on mere mortals and if you crash a trip to A&E is likely.

Recorded on a gopro hero 7 black with a chin mount. Helmet is an IXS trigger FF
