BACKYARD BALLISTICS: .177 and .22 Stuff. For a Christmas present to myself I purchased a .22 Magnum "Come and Take It" engraved cylinder from Heritage Manufacturing. The cylinder will fit my Heritage Rough Rider and my Heritage Barkeep. I already have one plain .22 Magnum (also referred to as .22 WMR) cylinder in my Barkeep, the pistol I prefer between the two, but the engraved cylinder looks good in the Rough Rider too. Recently, on a trip to visit my son in Victoria, TX, I stopped off in Gonzales to visit the site where the original "Come and Take It" flag. I shared a couple stories about this place, the Lexington of the Texas Revolution. Then at the same place where they stood with the original Come and Take It flag, I show my new cylinder. A further review, firing, and testing of the Rough Rider with the cylinder, firing CCI .22 MaxiMag WMR ammunition is in the second half of the film. It packs some punch.
